Guidelines on Completion of Tender Form

(for Letting of Commercial Premises by Rental Tender)

Tenderers are advised that their tender forms in respect of the commercial premises under tender should be completed properly before insertion into the Tender Deposit Box. The common errors made by tenderers are as follows:

(1) No signature on the tender form;

(2) Insufficient tender deposit which is not equivalent to 3 months¡¦ tendered rent or HK$200,000.00, whichever is the less;

(3) Cheque for the tender deposit post-dated, wrongly addressed/dated or not signed, inconsistent words and figures for the amount of deposit;

(4) Use of wrong types of tender forms;

(5) Tendered rent not stated, amount of tendered rent offered not clear, tender amount inconsistently written on both copies of the tender form;

(6) Tendered trade not stated, or not the designated trade; and

(7) Fail to indicate the exact description of the address of the premises under tender.

(8) Fail to initial adjacent to any amendments made in the tender.
